The T- Lounge is an airy Sri Lankan tea lounge with spectacular sea and garden views, which offers flavours, aromas associated with Colonial Ceylon through tea. With a central preparation area, guests can watch and learn about the tea making ceremony and the story of Ceylon tea. Over 30 Dilmah premium handpicked teas are on offer, including many specialties such as 'white tip tea'- said to fight infection and strengthen the immune system. Enjoy a cup of afternoon tea with our homemade cheese cake to compliment the setting.

Chef Bio

A diploma holder in catering and hotel management, Kumar counts over 28 years of culinary experience in the domestic and international hospitality industry. During his tenure as Chef, he has worked for more than 15 years with the Hilton chain while training at Hilton Rome. His overseas experience comprises considerable tenures at Kurumba Village Hotel in Maldives and Alpha In-flight Catering Services in Australia. Kumar Joined Fortress as the Executive Chef in 2011.
