"Old Victorian Manor House with luxury rooms"

The Wave School of Surfing located in the town of Mossel Bay in malaria-free South Africa half way between Port Elizabeth and Cape Town on the famous Garden Route where ex- professional surfer and South African Junior team coach Llewellyn Whittaker established his surfing school just over three years ago to help pass on his knowledge and experience to others. With different packages available it is up to you to choose a ready-made package that can include adventurous side activities such as cage diving with the great white shark or a game drive in search of Elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard and rhino, known together as the big five. Guests will stay at the Park House Lodge a unique accommodation in an old Victorian Manor House with the choice of luxury double rooms with en-suite bathrooms, family rooms and dormitories. Delicious breakfasts and an African braai (BBQ) served under millions of stars are available or alternatively you can choose to eat out or prepare your own food in the ample kitchen. The Park House Lodge also has a licensed bar for that nightcap before bed.

"Mild climate makes it a year round surfing destination"

The surfing at Mossel Bay is very varied offering gentle waves for beginners with a sandy beach break like Diaz beach where there are no rocks, to Inner Pool a local favorite with a great peeling hot dog wave or if you are an advanced surfer with the skill for big walls try Mystery Reef which on good days has 6 foot plus waves. Blessed with a mild climate the Southern Cape is a year round surfing destination.

What makes a South African surfing vacation so unique is that there are so many things you can pack into this trip that you could never do anywhere else perfect for couples families, and groups of friends.
