Quick Tour Itinerary
Starts & Ends: San Carlos De Bariloche, Argentina (airport code BRC)

Day 1: Arrive to Bariloche Airport (BRC) by 4:30 PM to meet your PowderQuest guides at the airpot and load up for the beautiful drive around Lake Nauel Huapi to the small town of Villa Angostura and home to Cerro Bayo. Check into lodging, unwind from your flight and meet in the lobby for wine and appetizers while discussing the trip goals with the guides. Dinner on the town at one of our favorite local restaurants.

Day 2: Full day riding Cerro Bayo. Depending on snow conditions terrain can include open bowls, tree lines, gully riding, small cornice drops and natural jib lines. First day is designed to explore the resort and riding options. Finish with an après session at the base and head back to get ready for a night on the town.

Day 3: Following breakfast, an additional day to let loose at Cerro Bayo and begin to try some new things in this perfect all mountain progression setting. Afternoon scenic trip through the famous 7 Lagos drive en route to dinner and our historic local lodge in San Martin De Los Andes, home to riding stop number 2 on the trip, Cerro Chapelco.

Day 4: A full breakfast of homemade goodies gets the crew ready for a full day riding the expansive upper and lower terrain of Cerro Chapelco. Plan on riding open bowls, wider chutes to practice freeride technique in steeper terrain, and some of the best tree riding in the area. Hit the town after dinner and check out the laid back snowboard scene of San Martin at El Moro or try your luck at the casino.

Day 5: Up early for another day of Chapelco riding. Focus turns to linking laps together through varied terrain and conditions to challenge edge control and ultimately increase style. Connecting terrain with natural gullies, windlips, drops, and more, will challenge riders to make the mountain your park. Fuel up on empanadas and local beer before group embarks on final leg of the road trip to San Carlos De Bariloche.

Day 6: Late dinner on the town in Bariloche after checking into our hotel. With options ranging from checking out local breweries to all night discos, Bariloche has something for everyone. Get ready for a full day of exploring a resort that has a huge amount of terrain connected through a scattered system of lifts and cat tracks. Cerro Catedral has an upper and lower section with huge portion of the ridge line stretching from end to end. If conditions are right, make huge laps that start with steep high elevation terrain that feeds into wide-open tree riding onto the front side of the mountain. Apres starts on the hill and continues in the base area as you look back at the mountain and check out your lines.

Day 7: Last day of riding the terrain of Cerro Catedral. Exploring and navigating the expansive amount of terrain available becomes more natural as the crew has a full day session putting all the advice from the week to the test. Our final farewell dinner and evening on the town are quite memorable and always a guest highlight.

Day 8: Meet for breakfast, high fives, exchange contact info with new found friends, and head to the airport around 11:00 AM in a group shuttle for the flight back to Buenos Aires, Argentina. Flights should be scheduled anytime after 12:00 noon.
