The most popular resort in Japan’s increasingly popular ski areas, Niseko has become synonymous with huge dumps of some of the world’s best powder coupled with the range of terrain to suit all levels of experience and ability.

Situated in the lively village of Hirafu, on the northern island Hokkaido, Paromcamps offers the complete winter sport experience. The Niseko area includes 4 resorts, Higashiyama, Grand Hirafu, Hanazono, and An’nupuri, with one lift pass allowing access to all. With great weather and snow almost guaranteed, the areas have something to offer the whole family. Beginners are excellently catered for, with a wide range of red, green and blue runs well maintained. For the more adventurous, the 4 ski areas offer huge variety, with exhilarating backcountry, cliff drops, steep sided bowls just a few highlights of Niseko’s expansive area. Niseko is also home to 4 parks, rivalling the world’s best. With an assortment of rails, kickers, and a selection of unusual features including a bus to take on, there is more than enough to keep you occupied and challenged. Floodlights allow the park to stay open until 9pm, making it the perfect place to play after a long day cruising the backcountry.

Paromcamps’ accommodation is located in the village of Hirafu. With the best apres-ski in the area, Hirafu boasts an extensive selection of Japanese and Western bars, allowing you to get a taste of the Japanese culture. Grand Papa-Lodge will accommodate you for the duration of your stay. A traditional Japanese style guest house, the lodge is well equipped, with a cosy lounge, open fire and couches making a perfect space for you to relax. With hot springs, ski lifts, restaurants and food stores nearby, the lodge is perfectly situated.
