A trip to the Powder Capital of the Andes

Powder hounds will love Puma Lodge, a place that is often called the Powder Capital of the Andes. With most snow storms averaging 100 centimeters of powder, there will be no shortage of freshies at Chile’s newest heli-skiing destination: Puma Lodge.

Puma Lodge, located in the Chilean Andes, provides helicopter access to untracked powder, glaciers, and backcountry bowls high in South America’s breathtaking peaks. Opening for the first time in 2011, Puma Lodge Heliskiing provides skiers and snowboarders exclusive access to some of the most remote terrain in the Andes with more than 3,000 kilometers of private skiable terrain.

Accommodation at a 5-star hotel and spa

During your Puma Lodge Heliskiing trip you’ll ski or snowboard on long chutes and technical slopes suitable for intermediate to advanced skiers and snowboarders with the company of expert local guides. An average descent will take you 1,200 meters through untracked powder, but your longest run could be as much as 16 kilometers and 3,200 vertical meters.

Backcountry skiing & snowboarding with mountain guides

Puma Lodge Heliskiing trips range from 3 to 7 days and include accommodation at Puma Lodge, a 5-star hotel and spa. During your trip you’ll be provided with private transfer from Santiago, accommodation, and 3 meals a day.
