Alpine skiing is known for high peaks and lots of glacial runs, two things you'll find plenty of with Air Glacier. This particular region of the alps is known for having several 4000m peaks. There are several different options available, some of which are more suited to skiers. At Ebnefluh, you'll descend the Langgletscher glacier, stop at the Hollandia Mountain Lodge, and finish in Fafleralp. Petersgrat, which is not recommended for snowboarders, features runs on the Petersgrat Glacier. During prime conditions, this run will end in Stechelberg where you can unwind at the Hotel Stechelberg. If there is less snow, as can be the case during spring, a short walk or taxi ride will finish the day. Journeys through the Fafler Valley to Fafleralp are also available from Petersgrat and feature excellent terrain and scenery. Another option is to start at Rosenegg where you can choose the steep descents to Urbachtal or the striking beauty of glacial crevasses on the descent to Rosenlaui. The final option is to start from Sustenlimmi, which is recommended for snowboarders and features views of incredible glacial features on the way to lake Steinsee.
