Mont Blanc trip with the best freeriding of the Alps

The Chamonix Courmayeur Mont Blanc trip is for skiers who want to experience one of the best freeriding spots of the Alps. Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, in southeastern France, was home to the first winter Olympics, back in 1924, but today it is one of Europe’s oldest and most renowned ski resorts, often called the “gateway to the European Cascades.” On this 6-day trip you’ll enjoy skiing “all around” Mont Blanc, riding some of Europe’s best terrain from Chamonix in France to Courmayeur in Italy.

The 6-day Chamonix Courmayeur trip begins in Courmayeur at the Cresta Youla where more than 1500 vertical meters of skiable terrain leave you with plenty of choices for great skiing. From there it’s off to the cable car Funivia Monte Bianco and then a chance to ski the Col du Tule or the Glacier Malbret and a 2000 vertical meter descent to the Val Ferret valley below. After a few days on the north and east sides of Mont Blanc, you’ll head to the legendary Chamonix, where endless wide open glaciers offer limitless freeriding potential. You’ll also have a chance to ski some challenging yet fun slopes like the Pas de Chevre, the Couloir Recteligne, Glacier Enverse, and descending from the peak Aiguille du Midi.

Europe’s tallest mountains & a unique skiing adventure

The Chamonix Courmayeur trip is best suited for skiers that are comfortable skiing in deep powder and speedy skiing on and off pistes. You can also expect about 40 minutes of climbing per day on this 6-day ski tour.

Accommodation and half board for 7 nights and 6 days of guided ski touring led by a UIAGM-certified mountain and skiing guide are included in this package. Safety equipment including a LVS device, shovel and probe must be reserved for this trip. Conquer one of Europe’s tallest mountains on this unforgettable 6-day skiing adventure!
