Selkirk Mountains offer long powder runs in Canada

The towering Selkirk Mountains invite you to ride some of the steepest and longest runs in Canada. With an average snowfall of 12-18 meters in the heli-ski areas, Revelstoke is where you should be this winter if you want shred pow and charge hard.

Known to many as the high temple of tree-skiing there are always un-touched pow stashes to be found, cliffs to stomp and pillows to slash. If you can be prised from the super-fun forests head up high for powder filled alpine fields, steep sided bowls and incredible panoramic mountain views.

Heli-skiing and backcountry adventure

For those who are short on time you can still cram in hundreds of meters of vertical riding with 4, 5 and 7 day trip options. If you’re a small group, private party, group of chicks or first-time heli trippers you can tailor your trip to maximise backcountry adventure.

CMH guests will enjoy boutique-style accommodation in the centre of Revelstoke at the Regent Hotel. Rooms include flat-screen TV, climate control, en-suite bathrooms and Wi-Fi throughout. The hotel is conveniently located downtown; ideal for checking out the buzzing après-ski scene. Take your pick form loads of great restaurants, bars and cafes all within walking distance and rub-shoulders with the friendly locals.

Winter holidays with guided skiing and snowboarding

Heli-skiing in these mountains is a pretty unbeatable experience whether it’s your first time or you’re an old hand. Each day of wilderness skiing and snowboarding is fully-guided by qualified professionals and all your safety gear, transfers and heli-ascents are taken care off during the trip.

The sensation of flying through waist deep powder in these mountains is sure to have you hooked after the first turn and will stay with you long after the trip is over. Sound good? Don’t hesitate to call LUEX for more information and booking.
