Garhammer Deep Powder Ski Courses use a unique technic called "ABS" to teach you to make turns confidently in any conditions. Garhammer courses are suitable for skiers of all abilities and include special courses for women and children. Group size is always kept to a minimum for more personal attention. Courses are held in great alpine locations, including Kaprun, Klosters, Disentis, Stuben, Sterzing, Garmisch Partenkirhen and more.
Each location has different terrain but they all have plenty of deep powder! Whether it's the lengthy powder runs of Stuben or the pristine nature of Disentis, conditions will be right for you to improve your skills in deep powder, on the moguls, and in the backcountry. Courses run through the whole winter season from Nov-Apr. Normal ski equipment is required for participants.
Course is designed to get riders comfortable in powder
Garhammer Deep Powder Ski Courses focus on the "ABS" technique which puts emphasis on natural motion and is designed to get riders comfortable in deep powder. The course starts with a few warm-up runs before the groups are divided up by ability. Usually the groups have 7-8 people per coach. Garhammer courses use extensive video review as a means to help teach.
Garhammer offers courses specially tailored to women's needs. The "ABS" technique has been very successful with female riders. Courses for children are also available and Garhammer has years of experience working with children. Childrens courses are available during Feb-Apr in Sterzing, Disentis, and Garmisch and are designed for ages 6-14.
