Lodge to Lodge Safari

Two world-class heliskiing locations, joined for the first time by air and skis. Share 7 days between Bell 2 Lodge’s legendary terrain in the Skeena Mountains and the epic tree runs and glaciers of Ripley Creek's playground in the Coast Mountains. Mid-way through the week, start the day skiing from one lodge and finish the day over 65kms away at the other lodge.

The ultimate heliskiing safari for those who can't decide on one of locations or for those skiers who just want to see and do it all!

Rippin at Ripley

This tour is reserved for small groups and expert skiers only. Ripley Creek has fast become known for terrain that makes the heart thump. Steep tree runs that will leave the knees burning and glacial terrain so huge, you’ll wonder what planet you are on. We offer a limited number of weeks with just 2 groups of 5 guests.

Spirits will be high, the pace will be quick and your legs will feel it. To participate in this program, you will be required to provide a short skiing resumé. Every effort will be made to ski the steep and deep but our first goal is to keep you safe. Terrain will be chosen primarily with stability and weather conditions in mind.

Heli assisted Ski-Touring include

This true full mountain experience combines heliskiing with ski touring. Spend 4 days earning your turns with heli-assisted ski touring and for the final 3 days, let the heli do all the work.

Private Heliski Tours

Enjoy the exclusivity of your own private A-Star B2 or Bell 407 helicopter. Your group will share the lodge with other heliski guests and ski independently with two dedicated mountain guides. Ski as much or as little as you wish every day, as fast or as slow as your group desires, with unlimited skiing/ boarding included in the single biggest heliski area on the planet.

Heli Boarding

Back country heliboarding in Canada like nothing else on earth...

We like snowboarders, but you will be in a minority at the lodge. You will likely be mixed in with strange creatures with one plank on each foot, but don’t worry it will all work out. Our guides will generally guide on skis but most snowboard and all understand the subtleties in terrain that riders are looking for.

The amount of heli boarding is determined by several factors:

  • Ability and desire to snowboard - usually not an issue!
  • Weather and snow conditions
  • Available daylight hours

Transition Zones

Some runs may include sections of terrain which require 'head's up' riding. Look ahead, anticipate your need for speed and follow the guide's lead. Snowboarders will sometimes wait for the skiers to set a track so they may more easily get through transition zones from alpine to sub-alpine pitches.

Snowboard Rentals

A very limited number of snowboards are available at the lodge. Please contact us before you travel if you will be relying on the use of one of our boards. Snowboard boots are not provided.

Choice of Snowboard

Bigger isn't necessarily better. Choose a board that will work in all conditions, as it is fair to expect a little of everything.
