The Mint team

Tammy Esten

Tammy started snowboarding back in the days of using ski boots and hard bindings and wearing neon. She immediately got the bug and is now on winter season no. 14 having spent winters in Italy, Canada, France, New Zealand and Switzerland. She started instructing 9 years ago and holds the top British snowboard qualification. Tammy is also a brand ambassador for Roxy.

Grant Gallacher

Grant began riding in 1990, age 10, on a 163 with hard boots in soft bindings! In 1999 he began studies for an HND in outdoor sports coaching as well as the BASI snowboard instructor qualifications. Grant spent many seasons teaching at Loon Mountain, even winning new pro of the year at Mt.Snow, Vermont! Now back in UK Grant works in outdoor education as well as being Minty ever since :)

Dave Cooper

Dave has been riding and instructing for over ten years since he first got hooked on snowboarding. Spending winters in France, NewZealand and the USA. He is still shredding hard and loves it as much today as when he first started.

David Gladwin

David started snowboarding when he was 6 and fortunately has improved considerably... He is totally hooked on the mountains and when he is not snowboarding he can be found mountaineering in the Alps and the greater ranges of the world. He is currently qualifying to become a UIAGM Mountain Guide.

Mikael Philippe Spilthooren

One of the keenest snowboarders you will ever meet, Mikael has been snowboarding for 14 years, spending winters in France and Switzerland. His motivation quickly rubs off on those he is teaching, whether they are on the beginner slopes or hitting the black kickers! Mikael is French, but a fluent English speaker.

Lewis Sonvico

Lewis has been spending his winters in France and Switzerland and riding indoors and plastic throughtout the summers. Being strapped in to his board feels more comfortable for him than walking down the street. To Lewis there is never a bad day on the hill, weather and conditions help but there is always somewhere to have fun on a snowboard.

Adele Hoffmann

Adele started snowboard at the age of 12 and next season will be her 5th in Portes du Soleil. She loves all kinds of shredding and you'll to find her surfing, skating & biking as well as snowboarding: riding is her means of transport!

She loves teaching and her goal is to see that her students enjoy, improve and get a smile on their face at the end of the lesson! Adele is French and speaks fluent English
