Red Mountain Ski & Snowboard Instructor Courses
Canada: British Columbia
Take your skills to the next level, become a ski or snowboard instructor, and learn from the pros at Red Mountain!
The ultimate in steep and deep. Red Mountain’s snow record is massive, which means its steep, challenging slopes stay fresh, with stashes of powder around every corner. There's not your usual abundance of pistes – riding piste is only used for transport in Red – the real riding is done on the epic expanse of ungroomed terrain. This is a classic steep and deep resort that will continue challenging you for the whole season and beyond!
Steep and Deep. When looking at a trail/piste map of Red Mountain, you’d be for forgiven for being a little underwhelmed. Out on the slopes, it’s a very different story though. We fell in love with the resort as soon as we visited it and, several years on, we are still blown away by the variety of challenging skiing that you’re presented with every day. The resort consists of two mountains (Red and Granite) and, once at the top, you can ski 360 degrees around each. There is a vast amount of un-groomed, powder filled terrain for you to explore, that will blow you away every day of the season.
The best thing about Red Mountain is undoubtedly the incredible free-ride terrain and there are so many natural hits around the whole mountain to keep even the biggest freestyle junkies happy. However, for budding park-rats there’s also a great terrain park in Red, with a large selection of kickers, rails, boxes and a wall ride. Perfect for slushy spring sessions! There’s even a permanent skier-cross course built in.
