Skeena Heliskiing

Canada: British Columbia

A short helicopter flight is all that stands between you and all the heart-pounding thrills of the 2nd largest heliski area in North America at Skeena Heliski.

Terrain

The Skeena Mountain range has a huge diversity of terrain, from the high vertical slopes with extreme steeps to powder bowls with pillows and shoots as well as sweeping glades and an abundance of tree skiing providing more Heliskiing opportunities during bad weather periods. Through Skeena’s geographical location and diversity of terrain, we consistently enjoy one of the lowest number of down days in the industry. So our clients ski more.

Location

We are located only 3 hours from Vancouver and 4 hours Calgary! Direct flights are available from Vancouver International Airport and via Prince George from Calgary International Airport. From here you are collected by our van shuttle for the 1½ hr drive to our lodge.

You can fly from Vancouver to Smithers with Air Canada and Hawk Air and from Calgary with Central Mountain Air.

We recommend if you are coming from Europe to Vancouver, flying with a Star Alliance carrier, to book the connection flight to Smithers with Air Canada. That will insure that all flights are on the same ticket. This will make things easier if there are any delays, as well on your return trip, you can check in your luggage in Smithers and it will go direct to Europe, with no need to handle it in Vancouver.
