About the Operator

Grigory Mintsev

He was born and grew up in Kamchatka peninsula, land of mountains and volcanoes. Grigory started skiing and hiking from childhood, and it became his passion for many years. He has been guiding since 1999, and now is a Ski & Alpine Trekking Guide, member of the Russian Mountain Guide Association.

Grigory is first and only one ACMG Certified Ski Guide in Russia (Association of Canadian Mountain Guides).

He has spent a lot of time in Kamchatka for heliskiing, ski touring and hiking, as well as in many other regions of Russia (Kurile islands, Caucasus, Siberia), Japan, India, Argentina, Chile, Canada, Antarctica and other amazing destinations.

His best pleasure in work is to watch your happy faces and smiles in the end of a good day in the mountains.

 

Victor Zaharin

The youngest guide in our team, but already experienced. He has a profound sport ground – tourism, alpinism, alpine skiing. Many times winner of Kamchatka ski-alpinism competitions. Victor is a highly educated specialist in tourism, he has passed avalanche rescue courses, first aid, mountain rescue and many else.  He has been working as guide from 2005 – ascensions on volcanoes, hiking and rafting. In 2009 he started to work in winter on heli-ski, freeriding and skitouring.
