Four reasons why you should give Georgia a try

01

Georgia got incredible trails and terrain

Off or on the piste, riding in Georgia is first class. Georgia’s mountain resorts offer deep snow cover, usually up to three meters, and its trails are vast, varied and groomed to winter perfection. The resorts are equipped with modern Austrian and French lifts, with undeniable quality on offer for its visitors. Don’t let resort limits stop you though. Freeriding is huge in Georgia. Catskiing and heliskiing operations will push you past the boundaries and into the soft pillows, cliffs, tree runs and pure powder of Georgian backcountry.

02

Perfect conditions in Georgia's Mountains

Georgia’s mountain resorts feature their own microclimates. Out to the north, you’ll find the Caucasus Range, the mountain system intersecting Asia and Europe, offering untouched powder from slopes above the tree-line (beginning around 7,200 feet (2000m) and rising to 10,000ft (3048m) at its peak). The west and east house both Black and Caspian Seas, bringing regular snowfall to the elevated mountain range. Snowfall is heavy between December and April, and Georgian snow conditions are often compared to resorts in New Zealand. Best of all is that 90% of the year Georgian mountains are crowned with blue skies and sun.

03

Easy access from Central Europe to Georgia Snow Trips

From Central Europe, Georgia is a simple journey. Even from the most western airport in Europe it is only about four hours by air to access Georgia’s Alaska-like terrain. Just four hours! Without any visa hassles or time-stealing border controls. Best of all, especially for the budget-conscious traveller, is that easy access means kindness to your wallet. Flights will suit all budgets and give you some extra Georgian Laris to spend on the slopes. The flight to Georgia might be short, but it’s your visit which you’ll want to make long. The colorful and warm Georgian hospitality is like a magnet for Georgia’s European neighbours.

04

Georgia is a unique nation

Georgia is colourful, vibrant and unique. The country is rich with culture both ancient and contemporary, making its post-Soviet identity incomparable to any other country. Your visit will treat you with national badges of honour, such as musical displays, architecture and art. Georgia has achieved a unique culture that is the envy of its neighbouring European nations, but its natural landscape is its most inspiring feature. You can understand why Georgia is labelled one of the most exciting places on the globe. But to see it for yourself, get in touch with LUEX today.
