BEST BOAT IN THE MALDIVES! by Jade Sheppard on June 1, 2018
Words cannot describe how perfect the Koimala is for an epic surf trip. It is perfect for a small party. We had 4 in our group (not including the crew, there were 5 of them!) and it was perfect. We each got a room. There are bunk beds in each room but that might be a little crowded. The deck on the boat is where we spent most of the time and unlike other boats, it's teak wood and super nice to hang out on. We spent many late nights out there playing Scrabble, games, looking at the stars, telling stories.. The crew... where to start. The captain is one of the best in the Maldives, there's a designated guy to drive the dingy, a guy who serves the coffee/tea, and the incredible chef. Several other boat crews came to hang with us and they all said that we had the best chef. Too much food at every meal. We always had food waiting for us post surf. The AC at night almost was too cold, I wore long sleeves and pants! There was nothing more beautiful and fun than sitting on the deck when the boat was cruising. We didn't step foot on land for 8 days. I never thought I would survive 8 days on a boat, but now I am planning my next trip back on the Koimala.......

Great Surf Trip by Eduardo on October 17, 2017
4 of us went on a surf trip to the south and middle islands of the Maldives on the Koimala. This boat is unique and it was exactly what the 4 of us were looking for. The boat can accommodate up to 8 people in the 4 guest rooms, has a great place to eat all of the freshly cooked meals (the food definitely exceeded our expectations) and a really nice wooden deck up front to relax between surf sessions. The crew was nice and accommodating and were always ready to make our trip a memorable experience, including waking up early to make sure we caught the early morning surf or letting us surf until sundown. We were fortunate to surf good waves every day of the trip! We would definitely go back again to the Koimala and the Maldives.

Luex did a great job in explaining the various booking options available prior to the trip and all of the details regarding the Maldives. Luex definitely found the boat that suited our group perfectly, especially since we were a small group and wanted to have our own boat. Prior to our arrival, as well as during our trip, Leux continued to help us with any questions we had and then followed up to make sure everything was going as planned. Thank you Tim!

Wooohoo :) We had really the best time on the boat. Just 4 of us and super crew. This wasn't our first at Maldives, but it completely blew our minds again. Surfing is incredible. Could do it every day and never ger tired of it. We'll miss Maladives, but going back next year is definitely a must!!
