Extended Description

Surf Camp Morocco Level 1

Early risers may fit in a yoga session before breakfast. Otherwise, you can start the day calmly with a breakfast buffet around nine o’clock. When the coffee has had its effect, we do a run-through of the day’s conditions and tell you where we are going to surf.

Who is this for?

Level 1 is perfect for those of you who have never surfed before, or have tried it a few times but never really gotten the hang of it. In this package you will together with the other participants receive close monitoring from our highly qualified instructors. They will make sure that you develop your skills in line with your starting level. They will also ensure that you are surfing on beaches which have the best conditions for you, and that you get plenty of waves. We think the most important thing is that you have fun in the water, get a thrill from surfing, and meet plenty of fine people.

A Typical Day

You can start the day by participating in a yoga session, or sleep a bit longer and begin with a breakfast buffet around nine o’clock. After that, we’re off to one of the surfing spots, where we begin with a warm-up and a briefing. The following hours, we surf as much as we can, and finish with a summary of the lesson. By the time we are done, you will be physically exhausted and your level of endorphins will be sky high. It’s time for lunch and, after that, time for you to do what you like. We always prepare an evening meal where everyone is welcome, and then you decide what you feel like doing. A trip to Agadir or, if you are tired, some rest before the next day’s paddling could be a good idea.

Surf Camp Morocco Level 2

Early risers may fit in a yoga session before breakfast. Otherwise, you can start the day calmly with a breakfast buffet around nine o’clock. When the coffee has had its effect, we do a run-through of the day’s conditions and tell you where we are going to surf.

Who is this for?

If you are past practicing pop-ups on the beach and surfing in the white water, this is the course for you. It’s time to surf green waves and start doing turns. In Level 2, you’ll be a maximum of eight participants per instructor and minivan. This is to make sure that you receive the right amount of coaching to take your surfing to the next step. We choose spots depending on the conditions, and since we have access to a van, we always have the freedom to choose the best option of the day.

A Typical Day

After breakfast it is time for surfing. A maximum of 8 participants go in a minivan with the instructor to search for waist to head high waves. We start with a warm-up and a briefing, then we surf as much as we possibly can. 2-3 hours later you will be physically exhausted and your level of endorphins will be sky high. It’s time for lunch and after that, time for you to do what you like. You may want to do some more surfing on your own, sunbathe on our terrace, or take a walk into town or a trip to Agadir. We always prepare an evening meal where everyone is welcome.

Surf Camp Morocco Level 3

Improve your spot analysis and wave reading skills. - Develop surfing technique and confidence with video coaching. - Boost water safety; get comfortable surfing independently.

Who is this for?

This level is designed for those of you that have passed our level 2 and or can catch waist high green waves on your own and surf frontside and backside. You’re not yet confident in head high waves on your own but we’ll surf easy reefs, point and beach breaks and provide you with all the knowledge you need to feel confident to surf most breaks on your own. Focusing on entry and exit from the break, surf etiquette and which peak is the best for your level of surfing.

A Typical Day

We’ll go through everything you need to know in order to catch larger waves, and do basic manoeuvres. By now you should be able to go both right and left on a wave, which means that it’s time to incorporate some small manoeuvres. You’ll learn the different techniques, and the instructors will give you personal feedback on the things you need to work on.

The Right Level?

Our goal is for you to learn as much as possible during your stay. We therefore want to be sure that you end up with the group that best suits you. This means that in some cases, we might move students from one group to another so that we can ensure safety and maximum development. We don’t do any changes without consulting you, but it might be good to know that you can change group after arrival in Morocco, if you feel unsure of which level you belong to.
