Surf by day - party by night
What was once an active traditional farmhouse is now transformed into a surfer's haven. Situated in Aia, amongst the Pagoeta Nature Reserve with panoramic views over the north Atlantic ocean and the Basque countryside. Just outside of San Sebastian, it’s a combination of the landscape (mountains and beaches), the intriguing Basque culture, great food, crazy parties (more bars per square metre than anywhere else in the universe), insane waves, and beautiful weather in which to enjoy it all. Everyone’s welcome here, from the most accomplished surf dudes and dudettes to complete beginners, the surf instructors are fun, friendly and happy to help.
Variety of waves which are suitable for all skill levels
The Basque country offers a range of waves produced from quality sandbanks and reefs. The top-notch surf instructors will ensure you’re catching waves that suit you best, whether that’s learning to pop-up in the whitewash, or hunting three-meter monsters out the back. Either way they'll make sure you’re advancing at a pace that works for you.
A healthy, homemade breakfast, lunch and dinner is included every day, as well as daily yoga, hiking, party nights and two-hour surf lessons, with all equipment included. Zarautz is a surfer’s paradise and a slice of Basque heaven. Guests have the house, the beach and the vibes, so all YOU have to worry about is enjoying yourself. The house is a balance of surf, partying and all things in between. With yoga and meditation for the more relaxed minded folk and Basque festivities for those who like to get a little wild. It is a house full of surfers, yogis and party animals from across the globe, and with the option to add access to our unlimited bar of beer, sangria and traditional Basque cider, where else would you rather be?
