How do I get to Surf Star Morocco?

You can fly to Agadir airport cheaply and easily from most European airports in 2-4hours. From Agadir we are only a 30/40min drive away and 5 night+ Surf Camp Packages include the Agadir transfer for FREE. If you are flying from the USA/other locations outside of Europe you may need to fly to Casablanca, Marrakech or into a European airport to transfer here.

Which Airports can I fly to?

Agadir (30/40mins drive away), Marrakech (4hours journey away) or Casablanca. And here is more info about each airport and how to get to us from there:

 

From Agadir Airport, how do I get to the Surf Camp?

The closest airport to Surf Star is Agadir. From here it’s just a 40min drive to Surf Star Morocco.

 

From Marrakech Airport, how do I get to the Surf Camp?

Marrakech is the second closest airport to Surf Star.

From Marrakech airport get a taxi to the CTM bus station (see www.ctm.ma) and buy a ticket for the next bus to Agadir. If the CTM bus is full (rarely happens) get a taxi to the Supratours bus station and buy a ticket to Agadir from there. The bus takes approx 3/3.5 hours and costs around 100mad. As you can not book online, let is know your time of arrival and bus company and we can pick you up with a Surf Star Morocco sign.

 

From Casablanca Airport, how do I get to the Surf Camp?

There are 3 possibilities:

  • 1) Get a CTM bus directly to Agadir in around 7.5 hours. See the CTM bus company: www.ctm.ma from here we can pick you up! Just send us a text or call us before you leave and we will send a confirmation text back. We will the pick you up with a Surf Star Morocco sign as you get off the bus.
  • 2) Get a train to Marrakeck and then a CTM or Supratours bus to Agadir. Trains in Morocco www.oncf.ma Casablanca to Marrakech
  • 3) Get a flight from Casablanca to Agadir Airport. Flight company www.royalairmaroc.com Casablanca to Agadir takes about 1 hour

Are Agadir airport/bus station transfers included in packages?

Surf Packages (guiding/lessons each day) for 5/6 night+ stays include a FREE single Agadir airport/ bus station transfer. Surf Packages (guidingfor/lessons each day) for 7night+ stays include FREE return Agadir airport transfers. The price of an Agadir airport transfer is €30 per way or approx €15 to/from Agadir bus station (for connections to Marrakech, Casablanca or Essoaira.

 

How do I get to Surf Star travelling by public bus from Agadir city?

Get the 32 or 33 bus heading north towards Taghazout or Tamri costing around 9dirhams. After about 30mins you will come to Tamraght (the village just after Aourir – banana village). As you enter Tamraght on the main road you will go past a big camp site on the left (Atlantica), this is also a bus stop but get off at the next stop just 30seconds further down outside the cafes and a surf repair shop called “shark attack”. From here walk up the street next to “villa azur” and a sign for a pizza shop. Take the second left turn before the small shops and you will see the ” Surf Star Morocco” sign above the surf school/office door. From the bus stop to surf star the walk takes just 1 or 2minutes. Travelling by taxi from Agadir bus station, how do I get to Surf Star without a Transfer (Included FREE if you have a 5 night+ Surf Package)?

Get a small red/orange taxi (a local city taxi) ask the driver to taxi you to the centre taxi station. From here get a white taxi, and ask then to take you to Tamraght (the village 5mins before taghazout).

After about 30mins you will come to Tamraght (the village just after Aourir – banana village).
